Their Wedding Story

Love, laughter, and a touch of adventure set the tone for Sarah and Connor's wedding at the picturesque Doxford Barns in Northumberland. This past Saturday, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing their special day, and let me tell you, it was one for the books!

The day started with a typical British rain shower, but that didn't faze these two. Both Sarah and Connor were cool as cucumbers while getting ready at The Tempus, the new and beautiful hotel nearby. Connor's smile was infectious all morning, and Sarah, beaming with a smile as well, received an exciting surprise in the form of a beautiful gift from Tiffany & Co from her future husband. Talk about starting the day on a high note!

The whole day was a testament to their love for each other and their shared passion for travel. Every detail was meticulously planned, from the zesty lemoncello shots in each place setting to the creatively named tables representing the places they've explored together in Italy. These two have an unwavering sense of adventure, and not even Covid could stand in the way of their travel plans over the past few years!

Now, let's talk about their journey to this point. Picture this: on their first date, Connor didn't exactly make the best impression, leaving Sarah to give another guy a shot. Thankfully, that other guy was no competition for Connor, and he got a second chance. Cue the hilarity when he realised Sarah has an identical twin and that's who he saw with another guy in the exact restaurant he was meeting Sarah at! I guess you could say it was a second-first date to remember, and they've been inseparable ever since.

As the day turned into night, we had a show-stopping surprise – Sarah emerged in a jaw-dropping new dress, leaving guests in awe. The party was far from over as House of Sax rocked the dance floor, keeping the energy high and the celebration going strong.

Sarah and Connor are a down-to-earth and easy-going couple, making them a joy to photograph. Capturing their big day was so much fun, and I know they have an exciting future ahead. Here's to Mr. and Mrs. Cavanagh – I’m sure their travels will be filled with endless adventures and many stories to come!
