Their Wedding Story

Just WOW!!! On Saturday Sam & Tom had the most spectacular winter wedding day at the beautiful Wynyard Hall. 

With the sunshine making its appearance, a scattering of snow on the ground and the most glorious sunset, I think these two did something right to get the FULL winter wedding weather checklist ticked off!! 

Sam and Tom have been together since university meeting in Newcastle and to say Sam has waited for the ring for a while is an understatement, but as the saying goes, ‘good things come to those who wait’ and isn’t it true! As Sam was pulling sandwiches out of their bag in Keswick overlooking Derwent Water she got the surprise of her life with Tom proposing! 

They planned the big day in less than a year but you would never have known – they day was spectacular from start to finish!

We started the morning at Sam’s parents’ with the house full of girly chatter and plenty of fizz flowing. To say that Sam and her family are welcoming is an understatement, as soon as I walked through the door I was made to feel part of the fun and that’s certainly a testament too to Sam’s bridesmaids which were full of hilarious stories! We were ready with time to spare with Sam in her beautiful Pronovias gown from the flagship store in London. From her dress to the cars to her venue, the day oozed elegance! 

Wynyard Hall has a hidden chapel attached to the side with such a lovely Vicar who post ceremony stopped for a selfie with Sam and Tom! The day flew by in the blink of an eye with everyone enjoying the glamorous surroundings Wynyard has to offer. I left the party after a Macarena dance off on the dancefloor with many of the guests joining in and the dancefloor filling up. 

It was such a pleasure being part of Sam & Tom’s big day and I’d love to wish these two the most amazing life together (and an amazing honeymoon!) Here’s to the new Mr & Mrs!
