Their Wedding Story
Sally & Richard got married on Friday at the lovely Heather Glen Country House surrounded by all their family and friends. The weather might not have been the best but their fun and laughter never wavered!
Sally & Richard started dating when they were young, however unfortunately after a little while it just didn’t work out. It wasn’t until around 8-10 years later that Richard realised that no one quite compared to Sally, so on a drunken night out he plucked up the courage to message telling her. After nearly a decade apart Sally didn’t know what to make of it, but as I’m sure you can all tell their story certainly had a happy ending in the end!
Anyone who knows Sally already realises she doesn’t like being the centre of attention, so when it came to Richard proposing he wanted to do it while they were away in Edinburgh, however every single spot he took them to was FULL of people and crowds chilling and sunbathing on a rare warm summers’ day. After walking around for probably what felt like hours, he finally spotted one patch of available grass with no one around, the slight problem was it was up a steep hill/embankment which they both scaled to make it! The effort was more than worth it though for his proposal… as you can probably tell she said yes!!
Sally and Richard’s day flew by in the blink of an eye, everything running smoothly and on time throughout, but again if you know Sally you’d not expect anything less. Planned to perfection, the only mishap was with the jewels on her wedding shoes coming off, but if that’s the only thing to really ‘go wrong’ I think you’re doing pretty amazing on your wedding day!
I left their wedding when the dancefloor was in full swing with guests showing off all their moves – moon walks and all! I’d love to wish Sally & Richard the most amazing life together, it’s easy to see that these two are utterly perfect for each other and have years of adventures and happiness ahead!
Here’s to the wonderful Mr & Mrs Pratt!
