I'm throwing us back this Thursday to a beautiful Autumnal wedding last October!
Today's wedding goes to the sweetest couple around... Sarah & Paul , (oh and let's not forget Autumn, Sarah & Paul's little girl), who got married on the 27th October 2018. They had the most absolute dream day with a stunning venue, (choosing New House Farm), wonderful friends and family, as well as out of this world sunshine! I don't think Sarah & Paul could have ever dreamed to get such an amazingly beautiful Autumnal wedding day!
Sarah & Paul planned a beautifully personal ceremony writing their own vows, holding a handfasting and a few different readings from their nearest and dearest. The ceremony was filled with love a definitely a bit of laughter, (as you might be able to see from their photographs).
The day flew by so incredibly fast and before we knew it we were heading out of New House Farm to Crummock Water for their couple photographs. Both are keen walkers so wanted the stunning Lake District views they've come to love for their wedding photographs - and I think we certainly managed that!!
Both Sarah & Paul are amazing, it was barely 5 degrees outside with winds making it feel even colder, however these two didn't mind at all! They were prepared for anything with wellies and jackets in the car just to get the best photos! I'm so pleased they were up for anything because these photographs are some of my ultimate favourites!
I loved capturing Sarah, Paul & Autumn, throughout the whole day. Recording memories they'll looking back on for years to come! The whole day was such a pleasure to work, and it's been so lovely looking back at their photographs putting this blog together.
These two, (or should I say three), are made for each other, but I'll stop my rambling there and pass you over to the photographs... but first, a few words from Sarah and her mum Linda:
Linda, Sarah’s Mum - "When Sarah and Paul chose you to capture their wedding photography and told us how much they liked your work Camilla, as you capture the moments and emotions rather than just the scene of a wedding day. We were thrilled that they had chosen you. We loved your style and warmth from the moment we first met you on the 29th October. I still keep trying to puzzle out how you managed to be everywhere at the same time, but did notice your running shoes! You captured their special day with love, laughter, warmth and as a friend not just the official photographer! The results of all your hard work are not just fantastic but go beyond the lens and you have given all of us a lasting memory to treasure forever. Some of your wedding photography of their special day brings a tear to the eyes for all the beauty captured. Thank you so much and would highly recommend you and wishing you many more future successes!! Linda and Geoff Leigh👍🏻💕💕xxxx”
Sarah - "We’ve just received the usb stick of photographs from our wedding 2 weeks ago and are absolutely blown away by each and every one of them. We had hoped for at least a few decent shots of us with the backdrop of the Lake District but what we actually received was something more than we had ever imagined. Every photograph has helped us to relive the day all over again and fill in some of the gaps.
Camilla is such a lovely and friendly person - on the day we hardly noticed she was there and it really did feel like she was an old friend and one of our guests. She put us both totally at ease from our very first meeting and we knew the instant we met her and saw some of her work that we wanted her to capture our special day.
We would definitely recommend a pre-wedding photo shoot as well, this really helped us to be more relaxed on the day as well as get used to her style. We both loved her ideas, she is such an incredible talent and we cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you so much Camilla for capturing our day in the most perfect way possible."
