Tuesday is certainly the new Saturday! Well, when it comes to Rosie & Joe’s wedding it is!
I was officially all to pot with my days that week thanks to the amazing wedding and evening celebrations for Rosie & Joe’s big day on the 14th September 2021… after the year we’ all had, we definitely deserved two weekend vibes in one week I think!
Rosie and Joe are such lovely people and it’s been so nice getting to know them over the years. The wedding was certainly a little while coming since they met when they were back at university both studying to become architects, and as Joe put it in his speech, it was near on instant when he met Rosie that he knew he liked her.
It took a university trip abroad though for their first kiss to happen and their relationship has gone from strength to strength ever since.
I started the morning at the beautiful Healey Hall with the two of them and some of their closest family and friends. Both the boys side of the morning and the girls side of the morning were unbelievably relaxed with not a nerve in sight… that was until 5 minutes before the ceremony at Healey Barn, Joe suddenly felt the nerves but he certainly didn’t have long to wait.
The emotions of the day came spilling out through so many of the guests with lots holding back the tears as Rosie made her way down the aisle.
The day passed by us in what felt like a blink of an eye and when it was time for me to leave the dancefloor was full and the espresso and pornstar martinis were in full flow (the cocktails of choice for the day from the happy couple – good choices!!)
I can’t wait for you all to check out Rosie & Joe’s photographs – Rosie’s dress was just out of this world amazing!!
I wish these two a lifetime of happiness! After the postponement heartache I’m so pleased they finally got the day of their dreams and more!
