I've got a stunner of a wedding for you all today, and it goes to the utterly wonderful Lucy & Aaron who got married at Ewes Church on the 8th June 2019.
From the moment we all woke up we were all prepared for a washout day of weather! The forecast was unimaginable - the word storm doesn't quite cover what was supposedly in store for us! However, I was so excited to see that at the exact moment the ceremony ended so did the rain... I think we were in the only location in the country where it wasn't utterly torrential!
... Cue me instantly getting all the family formals done and couple photographs before the skies changed! And thank goodness I did because at Skitby House for their reception the rain was relentless!
The whole day was marvellous from start to finish, from Lucy and the girls getting ready at her parents house, through to wading through a field of crops for THE SHOT. Lucy even climbed over an electric fence in her dress!! (Don’t worry it was turned off).
Lucy and Aaron just rolled with the day, even when their mode of transport broke down on the way to their reception and had to make do with my little Audi as their wedding car for part of the way. (My CV now says wedding photographer/chauffeur). The car company was on hand with another car though a little further down the road!
These two have been together since secondary school, they've proved a long distance relationship can work, (like the other side of the world long!) and when asked how marriage feels, Lucy said, "It’s just another day, all that’s changed is we’ve just made it official!"

Lucy & Aaron are some of the kindest people you’ll meet and I honestly wish them all the love in the world with their new family; Lucy, Aaron and their new little puppy who made an appearance on the day!!
