Mark & Louise put their absolute trust in me from the start. From letting me choose the location for their pre wedding shoot,(view shoot here), to taking them off for a little detour on their wedding day to a field of pink wildflowers. It's always such a compliment when couples just trust your judgement - even when you ask them to walk through fields in a backless dress with Jenny Packham high heels on! However I'm so pleased they did, because Mark and Louise's wedding photographs are still some of my favourite to date!
These two got married on the 1st September 2018 at a pretty little church in Greenhead closely followed by their reception at gorgeous Halston in Carlisle. The morning started at Louise's parents house with her bridesmaids more nervous than Louise herself! She was the most chilled out, relaxed bride I've ever met - and this lasted throughout the entire day! However her bridesmaids were the most nervous/excited group I've photographed waiting for the first look - and their reactions were amazing when they saw how stunning Louise looked!
Their ceremony flew by in a flash and before we knew it confetti was being thrown and everyone was piling into cars to get the party started back at The Halston. Louise & Mark's reception started with a bang once we arrived, (quite literally with more confetti in the form of cannons!) The Halston was styled to absolute perfection, with a cake that fit more than perfectly with the flowers over the tables, a sweetie table for the little flower girls, (and maybe an adult or two), and some big balloons in the corners (which we certainly used to our advantage on the roof of the venue!)
The whole day was perfect from start to finish, just like Louise and Mark are! Without a doubt these two are made for each other and I'm so pleased I got to be part of and document their big day! I hear they partied well into the evening... but I think that's enough from me, I'll let the photographs tell the rest of the story!
Some wonderful words from Louise herself:
“We had seen Camilla’s work via Facebook and instantly fell in love. Camilla has the ability to capture the most amazing shots without you even knowing! After booking our venue Camilla was the second thing we booked as we didn’t want to miss our chance at getting the perfect photographer.”
