Today’s the day!!! I’m so excited to share more from Laura & Michael’s wedding on the 9th of April 2022 with you all!
I had looked forward to Laura & Michael’s wedding for quite some time since they’d booked the jaw-dropping Wynyard Hall, a venue I absolutely adore but hadn’t actually shot a wedding at yet. We started the day with a very chilled-out vibe at Laura’s mum’s house with hair & makeup whizzing through Laura and two of her sisters who were her bridesmaids. Time flew by and before we knew it Victoria from Victoria Robson Bridal had arrived to help Laura get in her absolutely amazing Pronovias gown. Honestly this is one of the most amazing dresses I’ve ever seen, and fitted Laura like a glove!
Onto the church and the piper was outside guiding glamorous guests inside with his music, while Michael was inside welcoming everyone. The ceremony was filled with smiles and a lot of excitement between Laura & Michael, as well as an appearance from Emmie their little girl who stole the show walking down the aisle!
Post ceremony we hot-footed it to Wynyard Hall for all their photographs and reception drinks and even had some sunshine blessing us during the couple photographs! It truly was the most perfect day anyone could have asked for!
I have loved getting to know Laura & Michael more, two of the kindest and caring people you’ll meet, however these two certainly met only by chance! A swipe right on Tinder is certainly to thank for their beautiful love story, going on a date in a matter of days of talking and with that one coffee date it turned into spending 5 hours together non-stop talking. Michael even revealed in his speech that since that very first date he realized love at first sight was actually a real thing! Since then they’ve had a whirlwind romance, and when Laura was 5 months pregnant they went on their first holiday abroad together, where Michael got down on one knee in Capri and even managed to get the proposal videoed on his phone!
It’s unbelievably easy to see how perfect Laura & Michael are together and it was such a pleasure to capture their big day for the two of them. I was blown away with the grandeur of Wynyard Hall and the décor/styling they both went for with their table décor. It was simply stunning.
There are so many moments I could talk about with Laura & Michael’s wedding, but I’ll just leave it by telling you all that you NEED to check out the blossom tree photographs. The videographer and I saw them driving in and put a plan together to steal them both after the meal to take a quick drive to them, turns out that blossom trees are Michael’s favourite trees after he lived in Japan for a few years! It was definitely meant to be!
I can’t wait for you all to scroll through these photographs, so I’ll leave it there and just say the biggest of congratulations to the most beautiful couple inside and out! Here’s to the Mr & Mrs Wilson!
