A year in the making!
Jessica & Sam contacted me just over a year ago to book in a pre wedding shoot, and they had the most wonderful idea where it should be - Muncaster Castle! The plan was to time it for the Bluebell Woodlands to be in full bloom, but what we didn't expect was all the other brightly coloured spring flowers to aid to such a wonderful shoot!
If you've been following my photography for a while you'll know I love a good bit of colour, and I certainly had it in bucket loads with Jessica & Sam's shoot! Aside from the amazing location and beautiful gardens, it was amazing to spend a few hours with Jessica & Sam, getting to know them more before their big day next year and finding out more of their plans - even if we did spend most of our time getting lost in the woods! (No joke - these woods are MASSIVE, and if you take one wrong turn you can end up just randomly in a field!)
It was obviously though totally worth the thousands of steps, and country muddy tracks through the woods for some of the brightest photographs I've taken to date!
After lots of wedding chat, I honestly can't wait for Jessica & Sam's big day next Summer at Blaithwaite House. It sounds like it's going to be a stunning one - let's hope the weather is as nice for their wedding as it was for their pre wedding shoot!!
