JADE & MATT’S INTIMATE AND LOVE-FILLED ELOPEMENT AT LOW WOOD BAY HOTEL & SPA | THE LAKE DISTRICT

All they wanted to do was elope for their wedding day and on their third try they finally got the perfect day!

Should I back up a bit?!

I spent the afternoon with Jade & Matt for their super special elopement wedding at Low Wood Bay Hotel on the 18th November 2021. They always wanted a wedding that was just the two of them and had initially planned to elope in New York, a place they’d never been before but always wanted to go. They’d planned it to perfection, but unfortunately a little thing called a pandemic had other plans. Their second try was at their local registry office, but it just wasn’t meant to be… yet!

Instead, on their 4th anniversary they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony with Low Wood Bay’s wedding team as witnesses and they couldn’t have asked for something so special! Jade, a self-proclaimed hard nut who never cries (happy tears) over Matt, even broke down in tears part way through the ceremony! Everything finally came together perfectly!

These two are without a shadow of a doubt each other’s other half. They fit so perfectly together and truly showcase what it looks like to be a team and it all came about from Jade making the first move on Plenty Of Fish! Their relationship started slowly, seeing each other every other weekend for the first year but they certainly grew the best foundation and now have a wonderful life together with their little dog as their third member of the family.

From the Lake District to Derbyshire, after their whirlwind few days away getting married, they headed back home to celebrate with their family and friends - they had SO MANY PLANS that I'm sure they didn't let a good party go to waste! They then mini-mooned in Conway which I'm sure was fantastic!!

Here’s to the nicest couple, Mr & Mrs McLachlan.
