I'm throwing it back today to an exciting summers evening earlier in the year in May. From driving through thick cloud, rain and crazy hail we emerged in Ambleside to find the sun shining for Emma & Narinder's pre wedding shoot.
I honestly think I have the most amazing couples and Emma & Narinder are certainly one of them - so easy to get along with feeling instantly like I've known them for AGES - we laughed and chatted our way up an Ambleside fell and back down. We may have got a little lost, climbing hills just to work out a route home, but it was certainly enjoyable and a summer evening full of smiles!
After meeting 9 years ago at work and getting together after a Christmas party (Christmas parties seem to be the way forward with my couples 'how we met' stories!) they have not just survived, but thrived working from home together, and we all know after the past 18 months that if a couple can last through lockdown at home together then they are MADE for the future!
Meeting in the kitchen for their working day 'coffee breaks' and fighting over the heating temperature in the house may have been some of their most exciting moments over lockdown, but they are more known for their adventures and travels together around the world . I was certainly getting tips for my Vegas trip coming up next year since they celebrated New Years Eve in the big city a few years ago. I mean, isn't that the DREAM! I LOVE their stories!
I am so SO excited to photograph their big day in just a few weeks at the beautiful Hidden River Barn. There's going to be certainly a lot more photographs of Emma & Narinder to come in the future!
P.S. Yes I was absolutely fawning over this blossom tree!
