As I'm sat in the window of the Coppa Club in London, overlooking St Pauls Cathedral, I'm getting more and more excited over this blog - and no, it's not down to the large glass of red wine that sits next to me! It's ACTUALLY because I'm sharing with you all Jessica & Dan's big day at High House Farm and WOW is it a great one to ease you all into my blogs again.
But first, before your scroll I need to take you back to the height of Summer... the 6th of July to be exact!
The day was one of the hottest of the year, and luckily we were in the most perfect venue for it! High House Farm is a wedding venue that is literally a barn with one wall, so the ceremony was completely open to the elements - lovely to be able to enjoy the unusual beautiful weather. The ceremony was one of the most beautiful and meaningful I've ever shot, with Jessica taking a touch longer than normal to walk down the aisle due to more than a few tears alongside her dad, (these photographs are some of my favourite ever!), and with personal vows read to each other during the ceremony. Every bit was totally just Jessica & Dan!
The venue and marquee for the meal was styled to utter perfection, with lovely homemade touches and PLENTY of handwritten signs - Jessica has such a talent for calligraphy. I think one of the things that sticks within my mind was how they both brought in Dan's love of football, with their tables named after football grounds and the table plan designed with football shirts, they both put so much thought into putting a day together that truly meant something to the both of them and it was just utterly beautiful.
The day was finished off, (or should I say the night was kicked off), with Jessica's dads band on stage bringing the party alive with live music and plenty of people dancing on the dance floor, as well as loving the hot evening drinking outside.
I think that should be everything from me - I could talk for PAGES AND PAGES about how much I love these two, but instead I'll let the photographs do the talking...
