There is just something special about a country barn wedding. Everything seems to go at a slower pace, everyone's settled into the venue before the bride arrives, drinks in hand, already mingling by the time I rock up too! That was the vibe of Chris & Hayleigh's wedding day at Three Hills Barn in Torpenhow earlier in September.
I started off the morning in the Gibson household with Hayleigh's family and bridesmaids, which was an incredibly relaxed affair with champagne flowing and teas & coffees all round. I honestly think I have some of the nicest brides and families, because Hayleigh's dad presented me with my very own mug saying 'I shoot people, what's your super power?'.... I mean... what is your super power?! because I obviously have a super awesome one! *insert sass girl emoji*
This literally made my morning, and I may just be drinking coffee out of it this very second while writing!
Chris & Hayleigh's ceremony was so incredibly beautiful, performed by Louise Burns from the Ceremony Company, it was tailored to them perfectly, and was full of smiles, fun and laughter, which was an absolute joy to shoot! I swear these two did not stop smiling throughout the entire day, it was wonderful to see and be part of!
I loved so many things about their wedding day, I honestly cannot list them all, but most of all Chris & Hayleigh's relationship together is one I'll always remember - I'm sure ALL their family and friends would happily say with me that it's a match made in heaven. The two are best friends and utterly in love. It was amazing to be part of their big day and capture all their most loved memories!
It's also great to be creative with your wedding favours and these two definitely did! Chris created a mixed tape, (CD), for all the guests, and me! And every wedding since, this is now my driving home CD that keep's me awake, alive and singing the whole way home after my long days - a MASSIVE thank you to him for hours of car Karaoke from me late at night!
Enjoy some of my favorite moments and images that tell the story of their day!!! …
