Their Wedding Story

When you start dating one of your friends’ sisters it’s certainly a risky gamble! But for Ash, that gamble was all worth it because after 10 years together Ash & Phil tied the knot at the beautiful Skitby House this past Saturday!

Before these two even started dating though Phil had announced to her maid of honour that one day she would marry Ash… and I think it now goes to show no one should ever underestimated Phil’s determination when she sets her mind on something (or someone!)

On the morning of the big day we started with the girls at a beautiful Airbnb big enough for all the bridesmaids, mum, auntie and niece to leisurely get ready and pampered. Phil had been expecting rain for weeks before the big day but luckily the sun shone in time for some of the most emotional first looks you’ve ever seen! But let’s not forget Phil’s dad’s first look once she arrived at Skitby House, I think everyone was in tears, even the bridesmaids watching on through the windows in the doors.

I’m so pleased that Phil and Ash had the most beautifully relaxed day of their dreams and before we knew it the party was ready to get started with May (Girl On Sax) arriving right on time after being stuck in traffic from an accident for hours. I left as the dance floor was buzzing with Ibiza tunes and some pretty hilarious dance moves going on.

I’d love to wish Phil & Ash the happiest of lives together… but after 10 years I think it’s pretty safe to say these two are near-on perfect!
