Their Wedding Story

It’s the wedding I’ve been looking forward to all year and it REALLY did not disappoint!

THE LUCAS’ 

On Friday I had the most amazing day capturing all the fun (and there was plenty of it!) for Kate & Adam’s big day. Not only was it their wedding day, but it was a SUPPLIER WEDDING, with Adam owning Classic Chambers and Kate Bakerwood Marquees and to top off the celebration, it was the final marquee wedding of Bakerwoods, truly giving their company a send off in style!

There’s so much I could share with you about this spectacular wedding, from the beautiful personal touches of Kate wearing her mums veil and engagement ring that was made into earrings, to choosing suppliers like Brackens of Bowness which Adam bought the very first bouquet he gave to Kate from. It was a day thoroughly thought out to be truly meaningful, but ALSO it was a day for a SERIOUS party! Having the Dominos kick the wedding into a new gear with live music throughout the wedding breakfast and everyone up dancing, and that dancing never stopped all night! If any guest thought this was going to be an average wedding then they were very much mistaken! 

It has been the biggest pleasure getting to capture Kate & Adam's wedding and seeing their relationship flourish, from meeting on a day shooting to their first date where Kate cooked and Adam provided the wine! It's so clear how beautifully perfect Kate & Adam are together, always smiling, laughing and holding hands throughout the entire day. There's always certain couples weddings that I shoot and it just fills my heart with happiness seeing the love they have for each other and Kate & Adam are certainly one of those couples.

I have no doubt that these two have so many adventures to come in their life together and I wish them all the happiness in the world! Here's to the new Mr & Mrs Lucas!
