On Saturday I kicked off my 2025 wedding season with the beautiful Ellen & Rhys, getting married and celebrating in a city centre wedding at The Halston.

 

From the moment they started chatting three years ago Rhys knew Ellen was something special and as fate had it they ended up having their very first date on his birthday - if that’s not belief a relationship would work I don’t know what is! Offering your birthday day to a first date! They’ve been together just over three years and it’s so easy to see why these two are perfectly matched. They’re one of the nicest couples you’ll meet, and I’m so thrilled I got to be the one to capture their big day for them. 

 

TALKING about their wedding day, there was barely a dry eye in the room with all the touching sentiments to parents, each other and their nearest and dearest in the bridal party during their speeches. In just three years they've became each others world and their families have well and truly embraced the other one. HOWEVER when it comes to the dance floor I have to say Rhys' dad won the best dancer award out of everyone - even getting carried by another guests while posing up a storm (definitely check out that photograph!)

I'd love to wish Ellen & Rhys a lifetime of happiness and the biggest of congratulations to two of the best people. Here's to the new Mr & Mrs!
